Aviation Tools Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Airside Labs aviation tools: the MCP server at mcp.airsidelabs.com, the account page at airsidelabs.com/tools/account, API keys, and the connectors that reach the tools from AI applications such as Claude and ChatGPT (together, the Service). The Service is provided by Airside Labs, a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account, using an API key, or connecting an AI application to the Service, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal information.

You can use the Service by signing in (Google, a magic link or a password, handled by our identity provider) or with an API key we issue. A sign-in and a key can point at the same account. You are responsible for keeping keys and sign-in credentials confidential and for everything done with them. Tell us promptly if a key is lost or exposed and we will revoke it.

An account is for one person or one organisation. Team plans allow several keys on one allowance so that each agent carries its own credential; sharing a single key across unrelated parties is not permitted.

The Explorer plan is free. Pro and Team are paid monthly in advance through Stripe, which handles card details; we never see or store them. Advertised prices exclude sales tax, which is added at checkout where it applies. Launch pricing is held for twelve months for subscribers who join while it is offered.

You can change or cancel a paid plan at any time from the billing portal on the account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the free plan continues afterwards. Refunds are not given for partial periods unless the law requires it. If a payment fails we may keep the Service running for a short grace period and then suspend paid features until payment succeeds.

Each plan carries a monthly allowance of tool calls and a per-minute rate limit, stated on the plans page and on the account page. Calls beyond the allowance are refused with a message that says so. The free plan is also limited per network address. We may adjust limits to protect the Service for everyone and will announce material changes.

You agree not to:

• attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits or allowances, or probe the Service for weaknesses without our written agreement;
• bulk extract, mirror or redistribute the underlying datasets, or use the Service to build a competing dataset;
• use the Service for unlawful purposes or in breach of the terms of the AI application you connect it to;
• present the Service's output as an official source, or as your own primary data, where the provenance matters.

The tools answer from public and licensed reference sources, and every answer carries its sources, dates and confidence. They are reference and research tools. They are not certified, real-time or operational data, and they must not be relied on for flight operations, air traffic control, safety-critical decisions or anything where an error could cause harm. Verify with official sources before acting.

The AI use-case catalogue and the EASA screening are Airside Labs' own analysis, offered as a starting point rather than regulatory advice.

Suggestions, unmet-need reports and other feedback you send through the tools may be read by a person and used to improve the Service. Do not include personal data about other people or confidential information in them. We do not use your queries to train models.

The Service, its curated tables, the use-case catalogue and the software are Airside Labs' property or used under licence. You may use the answers you receive in your own work, with attribution where the source notes ask for it. Nothing here transfers ownership of the underlying data to you.

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, add or withdraw tools, and will give reasonable notice of changes that remove functionality from a paid plan. Where we withdraw a paid plan entirely we will refund any unused whole months.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used in a way that harms the Service or other users, or that is required to be closed by law. You can close your account at any time by cancelling any paid plan and asking us to delete the account.

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided as is, and Airside Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on the Service in the ways section 6 excludes. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If a clause is found unenforceable the rest continues. We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
